Tyn Llech Cottage

Sleeps 6 | 3 Bedrooms & 2 Bathrooms | Dog Friendly | Hot Tub

Tyn Llech is a charming split-level stone cottage with one of the most enviable positions on the Wern Estate — a flagstone terrace looking out across the Llyn Peninsula towards the sea, walled gardens, and a wood-fired hot tub. Inside, the cottage has a warm, characterful feel: low beamed ceilings, a wood-burning stove in the sitting room, and duck-egg blue walls in the master bedroom. The recently updated kitchen and dining room seat six comfortably, with the master bedroom featuring an adjoining walk-in shower and the best views in the house. Sleeping six across three bedrooms, Tyn Llech is 1.5 miles from Black Rock Sands and Criccieth, and a short drive from Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, and Snowdonia National Park.

A cozy bedroom with a large bed featuring a striped headboard, floral pillows, and a folded blanket. There's a window seat with curtains, a side table with a lamp, and framed artwork on the wall. Natural light fills the room.
A stone cottage with a slate roof, chimney, and small porch, surrounded by lush trees and a stone wall, on a sunny day with a blue sky.

We just returned from a stay at Tyn Llech, one of the cottages in the Wern stable (March 2026). What a perfect holiday, what a stunning location, I could not recommend it highly enough because I’d run out of superlatives! Our cottage was a conversation of a very old cottage, it has been done to a high standard while still oozing character. I particularly loved the colour palette of the interior. Book with confidence, enjoy all the north west of Wales has to offer. This is a five star hit!

We stayed here for a week as a family. We had the best time! The cottage was super cosy, lots of room, great fire place. We have already talked about coming back! We highly recommend. Lots of amenities and things to do near by.

Rare to find such a lovely cottage in this area. We loved it. Well equipped, comfortable beds and an open fire.
