Y Boncyn is a beautifully restored two-bedroom cottage tucked into private woodland on the Wern Estate — one of the most intimate and characterful properties in the collection. Originally a barn, it has been sympathetically converted to blend eco-friendly features with comfortable rural living: handmade kitchen units, a slate worktop, original beamed ceilings, oak flooring, and a wood-burning stove at the heart of the open-plan living space. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, making it an ideal choice for two couples or a small family. Outside, an eco wood-fired hot tub overlooks the countryside, and the walled garden offers a private, peaceful retreat. Just 1.5 miles from the coast and the beaches at Black Rock Sands and Criccieth, with the sounds of working farm life — including the neighbouring farmer training his award-winning sheepdogs — as a backdrop.

What a fabulous holiday cottage Y Boncyn is, beautifully presented and well equipped in a peaceful location. Ideal for our dogs too. The team looked after us really well, ensuring that our stay was problem free. Well located for walks around the peninsula with some really enticing eateries within easy reach. Would recommend without reservation!!

We stayed for a long weekend at Y Boncyn. Gorgeous location surrounded by beautiful scenery. The flock of Huw’s black sheep added to the ambience. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and the team was on hand to assist with any queries. Y Boncyn is perfectly placed to explore the wider area with Portmerion a few minutes drive and Snowdon less than an hour away. An added bonus is the Osprey centre nearby. I hope to be back one day

Thank you for a very special stay. A much needed break after a lovely but hectic Christmas. The Cottage has everything you would possibly want; quiet, clean, excellent location and sheep visiting every morning. We enjoyed stunning beach walks, Harlech Castle, dinner on NYE at Dylan's in Criccieth, and a lake walk near Snowdon. Thank you for the memories xxx
