Begin in the charming seaside town of Criccieth, where the impressive castle sits proudly on a rocky headland overlooking the coast
Follow the beautiful Llŷn Coastal Path, enjoying sweeping sea views and sandy beaches before heading inland alongside the tranquil Afon Dwyfor
The route then leads across open fields to the village of Llanystumdwy, passing through peaceful woodland where you’ll find the resting place of former Prime Minister David Lloyd George
Continue along the river as it winds through the trees, before returning via a mix of countryside paths and quiet lanes back to Criccieth — perfect for a well-earned refreshment stop
