  • Begin in the charming seaside town of Criccieth, where the impressive castle sits proudly on a rocky headland overlooking the coast

  • Follow the beautiful Llŷn Coastal Path, enjoying sweeping sea views and sandy beaches before heading inland alongside the tranquil Afon Dwyfor

  • The route then leads across open fields to the village of Llanystumdwy, passing through peaceful woodland where you’ll find the resting place of former Prime Minister David Lloyd George

  • Continue along the river as it winds through the trees, before returning via a mix of countryside paths and quiet lanes back to Criccieth — perfect for a well-earned refreshment stop
